Osho's teachings need a resurrection

As I look around at people, I don't see authenticity really. I see a lot of following. I see sheep. I see my fellow human beings being guided down a path that is laid out by a repressive system/society. How can one flower into any kind of authenticity in such a supressive environment? I feel enslaved just watching it sometimes. I want to scream "It doesn't have to be like this!" But who would listen? I am just a 24 year kid who is waking up, who wants to share his joys and discoveries with the world....Does anyone else agree with this repressed version of humanity walking the earth? That is why I think we need to resurrect Osho's teachings. He taught authenticity...He taught that you already are that which you seek, its just that it is buried under all that conditioning and repression that is built up inside. And we wonder why there are school shootings and Catholic priests molesting little boys - repression!!!!

I know a local Osho teacher who is massively disturbed as an individual. The fact that she is out there and acts as a new age teacher and spiritual leader is very painful to me. This is no way a reflection on Osho himself nor his teachings mind you. I enjoy Osho, as I am enjoying studying Integral Theory. Once you study Integral you see Osho was a 2nd tier teacher, whereas most people on planet earth are on first tier, and at a very low collective range of personal and cultural development, it begins to make more sense. Not that you wont still be angry; it does contextualize your anger and frustration. Little by little I m understanding why people are the way they are, however evil or malign that seems to me. I suffer immensely, benjamin. I have literally NO friends here in Singapore. So I must understand. I am relational and loving but have no friends for the culture I live in is so grossly inauthentic and war like in spirit, so low in ethical development, only beastly hypocrites succeed materially and socially in such a climate of hate. This is called a “good society” however. I am called “bad”.
As was Osho. And many others.
Hi Benjamin, I just posted this :-)
