About Me:
Born and raised in Iowa City, IA. From the age of 7 I was anxious and depressed and confused about life. By 13, it was all out existential angst - a lot of therapy and crying. I managed to find refuge by writing, drawing, and exercising (basketball, weights). I now know that I am an Indigo/Crystal child and I am learning to accept the sensitivity that comes with it and see it as a great blessing instead of a sign of weakness as we males are told in today's culture. I got into meditation in college and had a huge moment of surrender…it was so beautiful. I literally fell to my knees and cried tears of joy…since then, I have gone through what we call the dark night of the soul, and I am currently learning to be comfortable with my level of uncomfortabilty. I feel like I am just learning how to really be integrated into this world. Its a weird stage, but I am honored to be a part of this community and it is a comfort to know that there are so many people out there that are open and supportive. It warms my heart, so thank all of you and may LOVE guide you all your life.
